Mama, I love you

When I was in school, I remember having an English lesson based on a Russian folk-tale about a little russian girl, Vera. Vera is lost in the market place is and is found by a group of adults. They ask her to describe her mother and little Vera describes her mom as the most beautiful woman in the world. So in search of the vera's mom, the village elders summon all the village's beautiful women. However, the child doesnot identify any of the beautiful women as her mother. Then, a tired worried peasant woman, with dishevelled hair and protuding teeth et all appears and the child yells out 'mamochka'...The childs mom, though not beautiful by conventional standards was a beauty to Vera.... to every child her mother is the most beautiful woman in the world.

This is a potrait of the most beautiful woman in the world....in my eyes!
